The Whisper Mill uses extreme high speed milling teeth to explode the grains into flour. The noisy, small brushed motor, together with the small milling head assembly, are housed in the main plastic unit with a tube connecting the separate, opaque, side mounted plastic canister - used to catch the flour.
The milling heads are sealed and unservicable, fixed inside the milling chamber. The 3 position switch controls the amount of grain entry into the milling chamber, not the motor speed. The 1st setting will allow millet to pass, the 2nd a moderate amount of grains and 3rd a higher volume of grain, resulting in 3 degrees of fineness - it will not produce medium or coarse flours.
This mill is is suited to those who want ultra fast steel milling with rapid output.
Grains : Wheat, Spelt, Rye, Barley, Millet, Rice, Lentils, Split Peas, Buckwheat, Oats, small Chick Peas, small Soy Beans, small Dry Beans, small maize kernels and pop corn.
